Here we will outline the details of the Time Calibrations that you will need to setup for a VANDLE experiment. These parameters are still being actively developed and will likely change in the future. See the relevant pages on the XML Based Configuration File to learn how to set these various parameters.
Here is a list of the parameters that are used for the corrections:
lrtoffset : The left-right time offset in ns
tofOffsets : time offset w.r.t. start number X in ns
xOffset : offset between the center of the bar and the source in cm
z0 : the perpendicular distance between the bar and source in cm
z0Offset : additional corrections to z0 in cm
r0 : The distance between source and the hit location in the bar in cm. This quantity is calculated in the code from z0, the speed of light in the bar, the time difference in the bar and the xOffset.
