Windows Proxy Configuration

Overview

This project demonstrates the configuration of proxy settings on a Windows workstation in a simulated enterprise environment.

The objective was to configure a Windows workstation to use a corporate proxy server by manually specifying the proxy server address and port.

Environment

• Windows 10
• CompTIA Lab Environment

Configuration

Setting	Value
Proxy Server	proxy.corpnet.local
Port	9000

Process

1. Opened Windows Settings.
2. Navigated to Network & Internet settings.
3. Accessed Proxy configuration.
4. Enabled manual proxy configuration.
5. Entered the assigned proxy server address and port.
6. Saved and applied the settings.
